Keurig Elite Series
I just got my first Keurig Elite Series coffee maker. I had the original Keurig model for the past ten years, and it was built to last. I chose the Elite series because it’s between the original and the higher-end models. I also like the slate finish—it looks more upscale than the original. My favorite feature is the STRONG button, which brews a bolder, more intense cup of coffee. The ice coffee setting is a nice bonus
De’Longhi Nespresso VertuoPlus Coffee and Espresso Machine
I love my Nespresso machine because it makes smooth, bold coffee with a foamy top every time. I’ve had my machine for over two years and use it mainly on weekends or when we have guests in town. My guests love the technology of the Nespresso machine – you simply place a pod in, and it reads the size (double shot, single shot, or full cup) and dispenses the right amount of water automatically, unlike Keurig machines which require you to select the size. If you don’t mind spending a little bit more on pods each morning than the Nespresso is for you plus your friends will be impressed. Last, they have a recycling program which is great for the environment.
OXO Brew 8 Cup Coffee Maker, Stainless Steel
This is a full-on coffee maker that makes 8 cups of coffee. I enjoy using this coffee maker for when we have a house full of guest. My favorite part about this coffee maker is the speedy drip and the stainless still thermal carafe adds a nice seamless touch and keeps the fresh. The only issue is that it doesn’t have auto-brew, clock, or a timer.
Which one is Better?
In conclusion, the Keurig machine is my preference because it offers a wide selection of coffees, hot chocolates, and teas. However, I dislike that the capsules are plastic.
